My S13 Journey

To start this off, we have to go back in time. I owned a lot of cars, but also sold all of them to the point where I got the S13 now. My first car was a 2005 Subaru STI. I bought it pretty much stock and modified it very hard. Stage 2, front mount intercooler, Work ZR10 wheels, Big in Japan exhaust, BC Racing coilovers, flat bottom alcantara steering wheel, front, side, and rear lips with an APR diffuser and a Gurney flap on the wing. I also painted the complete interior of the car black and wrapped the A and B pillars in alcantara. And it was clean as fuck. I loved this car.

After 3 years I sold it to a friend and bought an R33 GTST.  

It had a Top Mount Turbo. I put a GTR bumper and wing (GFK) on it and Rota GTR wheels. It already had TEIN coilovers and a HKS exhaust. The turbo flutters on this thing were crazy. I also bought TE37`s which i put on later. But besides that, it looked good. This car was a nightmare. It ran on 5 cylinders all the time and randomly it would go on 6 sometimes. Tried a lot but nothing helped. I then swapped the R33 back to my Subaru with my friend I sold it to. Turned out the Lambda sensor was fucked even though I replaced it but both were even the one I bought new.

After that I had the subie back for 1 year, then I swapped it for an S14 from the Netherlands, oh boy that was a bad decision. It looked sick AF. The car was completely modified and impossible to get it through TÜV. Almost 400PS nothing was OEM. It would be crazy expensive to either build back to OEM or get it through homologation. The problem is the car was from 1999 and after 1998 the regulations are way stricter. If it would be from 1998 it would not be a problem. Bad luck I guess. Sold it to Germany for a good price and car number 3 was gone.

 

Then with that money I bought again a 2004 Subaru STI from which my dad owned. Also loved that car. 350HP with KW V3 suspension, Tomei exhaust and a Kansai rear diffuser which is one of the holy grail of Subaru.

Pretty sure I’m the only one that will ever have owned a Kansai diffuser in Luxembourg. It was very aggressive and by far my most favorite car part I’ve ever bought. Also had Work Kiwamis for it with semi slicks but they were a little too wide for the car so I sold them.

After more than a year I also sold the subie and got the S13. Ever since I got it I loved this car so much. I got it 100% stock.Bought Kouki tail lights, coilovers, Kakimoto Regu R exhaust (I also have an Invidia G200 which I got new out of the box in 2025 which is kind of crazy). I firstly had Advan RG2 wheels in gold which looked very good and suited the lines of the car. Also full Kouki Body Kit. 

Then I pulled the trigger on a dream I had since I discovered the JDM scene… Nismo LMGT4 wheels. Oh boy that costed me a fucking liver but it was so worth it. These wheels are just so beautiful. Also got a KE!YS Racing steering wheel which I sold and now I have a Nardi steering wheel with a Worksbell GTC Quickrelease. Then I started to experiment with decals and pulled a whole new look of (V2 is coming this winter). For me it’s always important to have an authentic look and to just look look. OEM Plus is the way to go for me.
